Astros Game 8/2/08

Gary's boss gave us four great tickets to Saturday's Astros game.Both of the kids love baseball and have already been to a game this season. Last time we were way up and they had a hard time getting into the game. This time were were in the dugout seats just behind home plate looking down first base. What an awesome opportunity.

Abbie and Asher both had fun with all the activity and being able to really see the players.

It was really nice to go to the game together and have such a great time. We left the game in the 7th and the score was 4 to 1 with the Mets leading. We checked the score at home after getting the kids to bed and found out the Astros won 5 to 4!!! We missed all the action but that's ok. It was already 8 and the kids were tired.

Visit to GiGi & Papa Rex's House 7/26/08

What a wonderful visit with my grandparents we had this past weekend. The kiddos had a blast running around outside and playing with the neighbor kids.

We had fun watching all the wonderful creatures! Gary and Asher found this little (well not so little) guy sunning himself on the porch during the middle of the day.

We didn't get any pics of the deer this time but Abbie spotted this cute little rabbit.

The birds were a constant source of entertainment and subject of conversation at the dinner table. I sure do miss the "country" life! It was hard to leave.

Space Chimps Sneek Peek 7/17/08

I was able to get a couple of tickets to the sneek peek of Space Chimps from work. Gary and Abbie went and Abbie had a great time. Here are a couple of pics taken after the movie.

Abbie was able to get an autograph from one of the writers for herself and Asher. She loved the cards and wanted to play with them. She didn't understand why we wouldn't let her play with them. :)

Yuk!!!!!

Yesterday Abbie decided to use the wall as a tissue during nap time. Instead of getting up and blowing her nose she wiped it on the wall.

So disgusting!

At first she thought it was funny but we had a talk about it and she agreed that it was gross. She told me that she just didn't want to get up out of bed. I don't think she'll do it again.

Abbie's B-day Party

Abbie's Birthday party was on July 5th. We had a bunch of our friends over for homemade pizzas and lots of fun!

Abbie had fun with the noise makers!! The kids made flower necklaces and were quite creative. I didn't manage to get pics though. :( It was a bunch of fun anyway. Abbie had fun taking random pics. Here are a few... :)

Poor baby!

Our sweet Asher has been so sick! First he had the stomach flu. Now it's bronchitis!

Our trip to the ER (last Thurs night) with him was rough. He was having trouble breathing late at night and scared his mama! Even though he was feeling terrible and could hardly talk through his wheezing he commented on the other babies in the waiting room. He even flirted with his sweet nurse Rachael. The toughest part for me (Jess) was trying to comfort him during his x-rays. Thankfully he doesn't have pneumonia .

As you can see he is doing very well with his breathing treatments. He has been so great about taking his meds! We pray that he will recover quickly and return to good health!!!

Pre-K Graduation

On June 12th, Abbie's daycare Pre-K class had a graduation ceremony. It was too cute. It wasn't a big deal for us since she hasn't been at the daycare long but it was fun none the less.

She is so excited about starting Kindergarten next year!!!
